Celebrations IV was the largest Star Wars costuming gathering this year, but it was a controlled event. It would never allow a video like the one above.(this was played on Dragon*con TV) Here are some of the pictures of the Dragon*con Star Wars cosplayers at night.

We are all that keeps you from the chaos of the rebellion. I am going to join the 501st and soon. I was surprised at how many former and current military wear the armor. There was a comraderie that I had only seen with Marines and Airborne people before... well maybe that is because a lot of them ARE Airborne and Marines. I figured out that when they called me "brother" it wasn't just a catch phrase. Been a few years since I have been around that. It felt nice... and people to be a part of with cons.....

When I was a little kid I got my father to take me to a Star Trek convention. We saw our very first cosplayer there in the form of a Star Fleet Admiral and a Green Orion Slave girl. Dad then looked at me and said "OK, as long as you don't end up like this. Just don't end up like this and everything will be ok." I found a Green Orion Slave Girl Saturday while walking around in my Imperial Grand Admiral's costume. ;p

This lady got so excited when she asked to have her picture taken with me and I knew her character's name as Juno Eclipse. How was I ever going to forget a pilot like Juno Eclipse. ;p

Dude that is SO awesome in alt. Leia bikini!!! Best I've ever seen because it's still pretty darn accurate.

I have seen some in the past.....nothing beats seeing a Dark Helmet and a Ping Pong reinacting the scene in the beginning after the Ping Pong went over Dark Helmet's...well helmet, lol.

The SW cosplay at this con AMAZED ME.
I'm looking into some costumes from either the expanded universe or the prequels for next year. i snagged the costuming the galaxy book, and i'm itching to do some costumes! YAYS!

I gotta say, every year I go, I always see some Star Wars costumes that still blow me away. Darth Talon and the 2 other Sith painted up like her.....not sure I would be willing to get painted up and sit there for 8 hours, but I was impressed nonetheless. And the Imperial Knight, not to mention Durge, were both incredible. Who could resist Lord Helmet and Barf? SPACEBALLS!! :D
